Manchester United midfielder Anderson could be set for a shock loan switch to play in the Indian Super League to play for FC Pune City.
The new league is being set up in order to try and boost football within India and it has attracted a number of stellar, albeit older, names to come play in the inaugural season.
The likes of Robert Pires, Alessandro Del Piero and David James will all be turning out in the league and now Pune want to tempt Anderson into joining.
A report from Goal India has suggested that Pune want to bring Anderson in on a loan deal in January whilst the club also retain an interest in permanently signing former Chelsea and Barcelona forward Eidur Gudjohnsen.
The club look to be building one of the strongest squads in the league with the club already boasting former French striker David Trezeguet and former Chelsea striker Adrian Mutu.
