BANGALORE, August 25: Badminton fans were in for a treat on Sunday evening at the Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium as Indian cricket legend Rahul Dravid and his family appeared for the Banga Beats-Delhi Smashers encounter here.
Surprisingly, the second day failed to attract spectators compared to a huge turnout on Saturday of the Bangalore-leg. But all eyes were on the legendary cricketer at the Dravid.
The former India Test skipper Dravid, who grabbed the front row of the VIP Stand was hounded with questions from his eldest son Samit while his wife Vijetha was kept busy by the younger one Anvay.
With autograph mongers made several attempts to get close to Dravid but bouncers are kept them at bay.
For every point Banga Beats' Parupalli Kashyap scored against Delhi's Sai Praneeth, Dravid's two sons cheered like any other badminton buffs at the venue.
